Hobby Lobby Speech – March 2014

On March 25, 2014, the Supreme Court of the United States heard oral arguments in the case of Burwell v. Hobby Lobby, in which for-profit corporations including Hobby Lobby and Conestoga Wood argued that they should not be forced to provide contraception to their employees as required by the Affordable Care Act. At a rally outside of the courthouse, I spoke about the importance of access to contraception and healthcare for all people in the United States.
